THIS EVENT IS CPD CERTIFIED
This seminar will provide a timely opportunity for delegates to discuss next steps for the housing sector.
It takes place following publication of the Scottish Government’s National Planning Framework (NPF) 3 Monitoring Report and the planning bill expected later in 2017, which may lead to changes to planning fees, local development plans and piloting of Simplified Planning Zones.
Delegates will consider next steps for the delivery of new homes within the context of the potential changes to the planning system; the Scottish Government’s target of delivering 50,000 affordable homes between 2016 and 2021; and the introduction of the Housing Infrastructure Fund, which will offer grants and loans to private and public organisations.
Further sessions will discuss steps the sector can take to ensure homes are designed to meet the needs of different groups, support choice, and improve access to the market - as well as potential implications of Brexit on the housing sector.
